Overview:

Commissioned to create a collection inspired by Ibiza’s sun-soaked summers, I designed apparel that captured the island’s carefree, adventurous spirit. The goal was to develop a cohesive collection that reflected the relaxed yet luxurious coastal lifestyle of Ibiza.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Art Direction: Drawing inspiration from Ibiza’s iconic cliffside hikes and vintage Range Rover tours, I developed a color palette of soft, beachy tones to reflect the island’s natural beauty. The visuals combined bold yet understated elements, carefully crafted to evoke the effortless style associated with Ibiza. The collection included a range of apparel that resonated with the island’s laid-back but refined charm.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management: I managed the entire design and production process, collaborating closely with the client to ensure the collection aligned with their vision. Regular communication allowed for timely feedback and ensured the project stayed on track from concept through production.

  • Product Range & Production Techniques: The collection focused on apparel, using high-quality materials and techniques that complemented the design's relaxed yet elevated feel. I prepared all assets for production, ensuring they were ready for final manufacturing.

For Paper or Plastic’s Year of the Dragon capsule, I was tasked with creating bold, dynamic designs to celebrate Chinese New Year. The project required a thoughtful blend of tradition and modern appeal, achieved through vintage-inspired visuals that connected with the holiday’s rich cultural significance.

  • Design & Art Direction: Drawing inspiration from the rubber hose animation style, I developed a vintage aesthetic that evoked a sense of nostalgia while staying relevant to contemporary trends. I curated a vibrant color scheme with a strong focus on red, crafting two distinct graphics for t-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts that captured the celebratory essence of the Chinese New Year.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management: I worked closely with the client to ensure that the designs embodied the spirit of the holiday while aligning with the brand’s vision. Managing the project timeline was crucial in coordinating design feedback and production deadlines to ensure a timely and successful launch.

  • Product Range & Production Techniques: The capsule included t-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts, with screen printing used to bring the vibrant designs to life. I ensured that the graphics were production-ready and suitable for high-quality printing across the product range.
